• What we collect: Heart rate data from Apple Watch via HealthKit
• How we use it: To display real-time heart rate during runs and provide personalized coaching feedback
• When we collect it: Only when you grant HealthKit permissions and start a run
• Storage: Health data is stored locally on your device and is not transmitted to our servers
• HealthKit Integration: We use Apple's HealthKit framework to access heart rate data. This data is subject to Apple's privacy protections and is never shared with third parties

3. User Profile Information

• What we collect: Name, age, running preferences (pace goals, distance goals)
• How we use it: To personalize your coaching experience and track your progress
• Storage: Profile data is stored locally on your device

4. Run History

• What we collect: Past runs including distance, duration, pace, heart rate, and date
• How we use it: To show your running progress and history
• Storage: Run history is stored locally on your device

5. Voice Data (Third-Party Processing)

• What we collect: Your voice input during conversations with AI coaches
• How we use it: To enable real-time conversational coaching during runs
• Third-party processing: Voice data is processed by ElevenLabs (our AI voice technology provider) for real-time speech recognition and response generation
• Storage: Voice data is not stored long-term by us or ElevenLabs. It is processed in real-time and discarded immediately after processing

How We Use Your Information

We use your information solely for the following purposes:

• Third-Party Processing: Only voice data is transmitted to ElevenLabs for real-time processing during coaching sessions
• Security Measures: Your device's built-in security features (encryption, biometric authentication) protect your data

You have the following rights regarding your data:

1. Access: You can view all your data within the app
2. Deletion: You can delete your run history and profile data at any time within the app settings
3. Control: You can revoke location and HealthKit permissions at any time through iOS Settings
4. Opt-out: You can choose not to use voice coaching features to avoid voice data processing

HealthKit Specific Disclosures

• We will never use HealthKit data for advertising or marketing purposes
• We will never share HealthKit data with third parties (except as required by law)
• HealthKit data will never be sold
• We do not store HealthKit data on external servers

ElevenLabs Voice AI

Pace is not intended for use by children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
